Özet (EN)
SUMMARYThe aim of this study was to investigate yield components and bread-makingquality of some advanced bread wheat lines of Aegean region standart cultivars todetermine the best genotypes. The study were conducted in the 2004-2005 growingseason at Adnan Menderes University, Experimental Field of Agricultural Faculty. The experimental design was randomized complete block design with threereplication. The plots consisted of six rows 5 m long with 20 cm between adjacentplots. The plant height, heading days, flowering days, ear length, ear width, flag leafarea, flag leaf angle, flag leaf area, ear density, number of spikelet per ear, numbersof kernel per ear, single ear weight, thousand kernel weight, test weight, proteincontent, sedimentation value, falling number and gluten were measured in thisresearch. When genotypes were evalvated for yield and quality characteristics the 2, 3.and 8. genotypes show suıtable characteristics and late maturityIn conclusion, when 3. and 8. genotypes were compered with standartcultivars, genotypes may be suitable for yield and quality characteristics. On theother hand 2, 3. and 8. genotypes should be used for wheat breeding studies in thefuture
