For this reason, this requires optimum using the sources of soil and water. In our country having earth climate, there is a great deal lack of water in the summer. Drought is a great problem in agricultural irrigation. So we should save the rainfalls in the other reasons. The most economical way is to construct dam. In this study, the possible capacities of artificial lakes and micro-domain organizing plan have been investigated 1/25.000 scaled topography maps were used in the site selection of the lakes. As a result of this study, it can be concluded that total 14 artificial irrigation lakes and animal drinking water lakes can be built in Baskil region.
