A review on Elazig manis

Mani, one of the oldest verse forms of our folk literature, is also the most common type of Anonymous folk poetry. Starting from Kutadgu Bilig, mani, which we have seen important effects on our Divan literature, usually consists of a single quatrain with seven syllables and four lines. The most distinctive feature is that the rhyme scheme does not fit other genres (aaxa). Although there are poems with four verses in other nations, they are not in a way that shows their mani characteristics in us. Manis is a form of verse unique to Turks. It is a document that indicates the Turkish people's thought, intelligence, taste and sense of humor. Our people expressed their love, joy, joy and suffering from the depths of their hearts in manis. In this respect, manis, which cover all aspects of life, will increase in value with each passing day and will go on forever.
