Abstract (EN)
Personnel selection is important for businesses as well as service-producing organizations. The purpose of this study is a case study on the selection of mathematics teachers for Private Tourism Anatolian Vocational High School. For this purpose, CRITIC and ELECTRE methods, which are multi-criteria decision-making methods, were used in the study. In this study, in which teacher selection will be made with the CRITIC based ELECTRE method, data regarding the criteria described by the administrators of the relevant school were obtained from 8 candidates who applied for a job as a mathematics teacher at the Private Tourism Anatolian Vocational High School, using the unplanned free interview technique. In the study, 8 criteria were determined to be used in candidate selection. These criteria were tested with the help of literature review and expert opinions. Criteria are weighted using the CRITIC method. The performance ranking or selection of the candidates was made using the ELECTRE method. As a result, candidate number 7 was selected among the 8 candidates who applied for the job using the ELECTRE method.
