Abstract (EN)

In Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM), the making of separate electrodes for roughing, semi-finishing and finishing electrical discharge machining of many dies and moulds having complex surface, results in development in the cost and the lead-time in the production. In the production of the electrode, eroding of electrodes, being high the lead-time and the cost, have brought to agenda different electrode processes unlike producing filled electrode from copper material, powder metallurgy (P/M), stereolithography (SLA) and dot matrix method. In this thesis, the working performance parameters of the electrodes by using wire bunches method depended on the discrete copper wires having similar or different cross sectional area and positioned to the almost surface to be machined was experimentally and theoretically analyzed. In the experiments with one and more wired electrodes, the working performance parameters, the wearing of electrodes and the surfaces of the machined works were examined according to discharge current and impulse time.
