Abstract (EN)
With the thesis study, graphene electrode synthesis was performed in one step by using cyclic voltammetry method for the first time in the literature. Firstly, graphene electrode materials were synthesized from graphite electrode material in different acid solutions. Later, sulphur, nitrogen and chlorine doped graphene electrode materials were produced. So, electrode materials were provided many important features such as higher conductivity. The developed electrode materials were characterized by using electrochemical, spectroscopic and morphological methods. Finally, the use of the obtained graphene electrodes were investigated as a positive electrode component in vanadium redox flow batteries. Graphene electrode synthesis in a single step by cyclic voltammetry method is simpler, less costly, environmentally friendly and stable than existing electrochemical and chemical methods.
