Abstract (EN)

Clean room design is generally thought to be made for operating theaters or intensive care units in hospitals but there is a need for clean room design and applications in electronic card production areas, electronic process areas, pharmaceutical production areas or chemical production areas. Today there are standards and classes for clean rooms and design criteria are controlled accordingly. Apart from theoretical studies, the formation of pollutants in an environment cannot be prevented, but the desired air conditions can be achieved by supplying a certain amount of fresh air to the room, exhausting or re-filtering the polluted air from the room. In clean rooms, especially temperature and humidity control is aimed. In the electronic board production areas, a certain humidity should be provided to prevent the formation of static electricity firstly. Apart from the special conditions of the products produced, it is important that people who are working in this area do not form pollutants through perspiration and the like. In general, animate/inanimate pollutants, temperature, humidity, air flow direction and pressure should be kept under control in clean rooms. In this study, firstly, general information about clean room terminology and design criteria are given. Then, after introducing the method to be followed in the design of the laboratory environment air conditioning system where electronic processes service zone will be performed, clean room air handling unit design made. Clean room ventilation system should be designed very well for electronic processes. Therefore, a ventilation system design scheme prepared during the thesis study, a theoretical channel route, airflow rate and heat loss gain table determined according to the distribution of the air to be made in the room. Following the completion of the design scheme, all equipment in the air handling unit has selected by taking into account the parameters such as duct pressure, heating and cooling load depending on the blowing temperature, blowing flow, and suction airflow. In practice, the thesis study completed by taking the number of particles, temperature, and humidity values from the environment connected to the air handling unit.
