Abstract (EN)
Biopolymers are the polymers, which have been produced by living organisms. Since they have a high degree of bio-compatibility and their bio-degradable and anti-toxic effects, biopolymers get more attention in current century and take part in many research projects. As the scientific studies get more and more multidisciplinary, biopolymers? application area has been enlarging. In addition to this, with the help of nanotechnology, which is the rising research topic of this century, biopolymers have been an independent research topic.In this study, by using cellulose acetate (CA), which is a member of biopolymer family, and electrospinning technique, one of the most effective one to produce nanofibers, electrospun fibers were produced. Non-ionic, anionic and cationic surfactants and salts, which can be grouped in two as chloride and nitrate group salts were added into the polymer solutions of those fibers, systematically. Morphological properties of these electrospun fibers were analyzed by comparing with their polymer solutions? physicochemical properties. Contact angle test had been applied on every type of fiber, in order to understand the effects of the additives on the property of hydrophilicity. DSC analyze was applied on a group of those fibers, which were evaluated also based on their antimicrobial performance due qualitative and also quantitative methods.
