Relationship between anaerobic power, agility and hamstring muscle strength in elite footballers

This research studies the relationship between anaerobic power, agility and Hamstring muscle strength in elite footballers. Materials and Methods: Nineteen footballers from Manisaspor have voluntarily taken part in the study.Anthropo-metric scale is used while the heights and the weights of the footballers are taken.Nordbord to measure Hamstring power,Pro-agility scale is used to assess agility.Besides vertical jumping performance of the footballers through electronic Smart-speed-Lite system.Numbers of the categories are taken into consideration in comparing the footbalers'left and right hamstring,bosco and pro-agility points to their demographic attributes.According to this,t-test for variants consisting of two gategories and One-way Analysis of Variance(ANOVA)is implemented for variants consisting of two or more categories when comparing the footbalers'left and right hamstring,bosco and pro-agility points.Multiple-Comparison(Post Hoc.)tests are held to determine which groups the differences stem from as a result of ANOVA.Homogenoity tests of Levene variants are taken into account while determining the multiple camparison test used.Turkey multi-comparison test is is used since group variants are homogeneous at the end of the research.In addition,correlation analysis is carried out to determine the relationship between left and right hamstring,bosco and pro-agility points. Conclusion:As a result of this study it is established that hamstring power didn't change considerably depending on the variant of the position,whereas it is established that bosco test had a considerable effect on the variant of the position.
