A sociological research on the retired and their problems: Sample of Şanlıurfa

This study is a comperative area study in which it is aimed to find;retired life in ourcountry and economic, social, psychological, judicial, physical problems encountered andsolutions of them.İn this study;by the way of public surveys which are prepared with a literatüre searchand applied to 123 retired people coming from different job backgrounds inhabiting inŞanlıurfa.Data collected by the way of this public survey is by the way of being plyed presentedin the research.As the result of this area study it is find out that retired people although coming fromdifferent job, and income groups live different problems.İt is seen that the ones retired from higher positions does not want to inhabit inŞanlıurfa. Also it is find out that social environments for retired people are limited.İt is seen in the other problems of retired people that economic problems are moredominant. Also, it is find out at the end of research that women more easily adapt toretirement process than men.
