Relations with imperialism and terrorism; Central America and South America case

While imperialism is an ideological term that promotes the legitimacy of economic and sometimes military control of one nation by another, colonialism is a practice form that derives from the ideology of imperialism and is mainly concerned with the settling of a group of people in a new country. Although colonialism seems to have ended today, imperialism still persists as Western nations such as America engage in imperial actions that increase their wealth and power through the persistent economic exploitation of other nations. Terrorism is the most terrible method of politics, which includes violence. Terrorism has caused pain, disasters and tears in human history in terms of planning, implementation and results. Despite all these negative consequences, terrorism is actively used as a form of politics by imperialist states today. The imperialist powers that want to establish regional and global hegemony use and support terrorism, either openly or covertly. In this direction, the main purpose of the study is; The aim of this study is to examine how the internal conflicts and terrorist activities of South and Central American countries are used by the dominant powers in the region through country examples. In the study, terrorist organizations operating in Peru, Chile, Mexico, Colombia and Venezuela were examined. The findings showed that as a result of the policies of the imperial powers, there were destabilizations in the target countries.
