Abstract (EN)
Purpose: Using hematological factors; for example monocyte count, rate of neu-trophile to lymphocyte (NLO), mean thrombocyte volume (MPV), rate of platelet to lymphocyte (PLO) in different cancer types as prognostic and predictive factors has been focus of interest recent years. We investigated that if the preoperative NLO, mo-nocyte count, MPV, PLO, rate of mean thrombocyte volume to thrombocyte count ( MPV/PO) are related with prognosis in endometrium cancer or not. Material and Method: We evaluated 763 patient with endometrium cancer who operated and followed at Cukurova University Faculty of Medicine Obstetric and Gy-necology Department between January 1991-February 2016, we know prognosis of these patients also. We evaluated clinical and patological parameters like preoperative hematological parameters, histopatological type, servical involvement, degree of myo-metrial invasion, lymph node metastasis, surgical stage, characteristics of operation in a retrospective way. The effects of these factors to prognosis analysed by Kaplan Meier and Cox regretion analysis. Results: Mean age was 57,2 ±10,5 and median age was 58 ( 27-91). We de-tected that the %74,2 of patients was stage 1, %7,5 was stage 2, %15,2 was stage 3 and %2,4 was stage 4. 573 patients had endometrioid adenocarcinoma (%76,2)(type 1); 179 patients (%23,8) had type 2 (serous, clear, carcinosarcoma, mixed) endometrium cancer in histologically. Patients' mean lifetime was 194,1 months (GA: 175,0-213,1). Five year survival chance was %86. Average survey (month) was significant for NLO value (p=0,017); but there was not statistically significance for monocyte count (p=0,670), for MPVPO (P=0,122) and MPV (P=0,452). The patients with high NLO had short survival. NLO was associated with stage, metastatic lymph node, myometrial invasion, cervical inva-sion, lymphovascular invasion, adnexial involvement, state of cytology positive and status. PLO was associated with stage, metastatic lymph node, myometrial invasion, cervical invasion, lymphovascular invasion, adnexial involvement. Monocyte count was associated with stage, metastatic lymph node, grade and state of cytology positive and status. MPVPO was associated with stage and metastatic lymph node. Conclusion: We detected that age, co-morbidity, histopatological type, stage, grade, lymphovascular invasion, cervical invasion, metastatic lymph node, chemothera-py, myometrial invasion, NLO and treatment type were prognostic factors in endome-trium cancer. Age, stage, co-morbidity, servical invasion were independent prognostic factors for total survival in multivariable analysis
