Özet (EN)
Higher consumption of resources due to increased population and the increased use of greenhouse gases, an element that imbalances nature as a result of the dependence upon energy resources in a modernizing world, and the consequent greenhouse effect and global climate change have recently increased their effect on our world. Countries across the world have come together with an aim to create a single methodology for analyzing, evaluating, and putting a stop to this effect. They have been doing continuous improvement studies in line with this effort in order to define the current activity-related quantity of carbon for the activities and products that consume energy and emit carbon and to minimize the amount of carbon emission with the help of energy efficiency. As part of these improvement efforts, such work has been done for purposes of energy efficiency also for the pumps, which account for 10% of the electricity consumption across the world according to the research results. As a result of the work performed, the energy efficiency of the redesigned pumps and the total carbon emission from the activities of the plant that produce these pumps have been evaluated, and the results of the efficiency studies have been published.
