The opinions of The Industry Profession Highshools menagers and coordination teachers about school-indutry relationship

SUMMARY In this investigation, evoluation for Industry Profession High School managers' and coordination teachers' opinions about the cooperation with industry for getting work experiment to Industry Profession High School students aimed. To reach this aim the answers of below questions searched : In what degree effects the 3308 No. Apprenticement and Profession Law and related regulations on school-industry relationship? What kind of problems coordination teachers are meeting while dooing profession practice (application)? What kind of problems schools are meeting while dooing profession practice? What are the opions of the Industry Profession High School practice teachers about school-industry cooperation? In this descriptive qualified situation fixation investigation, quastionaire technique used. The quastionaire forms that we developed were given out to coordination teachers (which works in application) and school directors of Balgat Industry Profession High School, Yenimahalle Industry Profession High School, Gazi Industry Profession High School, Batikent Industry Profession High School, İskitler Industry Profession High School, Altındağ Atatürk Industry Profession High School which are all in Ankara Provence, Yenimahalle and Çankaya District borders. Then the opinions of them about school-industry relationship and this application's efficiency taken. The obtaining datas analized for developing tables which are including frequency (f) and percentage (%), arithmetical avarege (X) and standard deviation (SS) values. Furthermore the tables are commented with SPSS-12 ( Social Serence Stat) computer program.VI According to investigation results below results obtained : Nearly all of the joiners of quastionaire were pointed out that the Apprenticement and Profession Education Law must organized over again with taking into consideration the today's situation. In the cooperation between school and industry for students profession practice, the school and the coordination teachers were meeting some problems. According to investigation results we can summerize the propositions : 1. Profession Education programs and application tables must up-to- date (organize over again topically). 2. The coordination teachers must go to inner attendence education programs which organized by National Education Ministry. 3. Provence Profession Education Commissions must help for finding the work places for profession practice. 4. While placing the students to (industry) work places, their characteristics and personal requests (not excessively) must taken into consideration. 5. The school-workplace common programs must develope for profession practice in work places. 6. Some measures must taken against increasing interests of work places to profession practice. 7. The school curriculums must up to date with considering technological developements. 8. The schools must always communicate with the master- workmen teachers of work-places which taking students. 9. The students must place to work-places with thinking their future in this application. 10. A sanction must apply to work-places for establishing education units.
