Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, it is discussed that gender, unlike biological sex, expresses learned patterns about femininity and masculinity and what kind of attitude differences this perception causes in business life. The socio-cultural and economic relations created by accumulating in the historical process in social life are also related to the gender role and social identity of the individual, and it brings about the shaping of the person's behavior accordingly. Gender, It can cause problems especially in social and business life and drag the individuals exposed to it into a disadvantageous position. It is very important in the life of the individual to determine in which areas the woman is in an advantageous or disadvantageous position in the society. These restrictive identities and labels, which are formed depending on gender roles, are seen more unequally in societies within the patriarchal structure. The aim of the thesis is to actively question gender attitudes, which reconstruct the interpersonal social organization and identify the lives assigned to people solely on the basis of their biological sex, and turn them into fixed imperatives. The antidote to polarization in this vicious circle, where masculism is opposed to feminism and feminism to masculism, ultimately stands behind the egalitarian theory as a more positive value. Quantitative research design, one of the scientific research methods, was preferred. Questionnaire techniqe was used as data collection tool. Research data were analyzed with IBM-SPSS25 software. In the scale questions, there are content about the fairness of women working for a lower wage than men, whether marriage prevents women from working, the suitability of women to work after becoming a mother, the obligation of working women to give their income to their spouses, and the fact that men do household chores such as laundry and dishes. As a result, the current order coded into these thought structures that create conflict for the parties is examined. It is accepted that there are not masculinity and femininity, but the existence of two biological sexes, which are inextricably linked to each other without the continuation of the lineage, and can realize nature together. However, on the contrary, the destruction created by artificial gender roles is also questionable. Because it is a controversial issue that existed equal rights in the theory can be fully implemented or not in also social practice. For this reason, providing equality between the sexes especially in the minds can be built with an enlightenment at the level of consciousness, as it primarily requires education and legal regulations.
