Abstract (EN)
Industrial robots may also have the ability to work as mobile as they can operate in a fixed location. Recently standard programmed mobile robots began to be used for transport in factory. However, robots become more intelligent systems with each passing day. The flexibility of systems has been significantly increased by using autonomous feature in robotic applications. In this seminar, an autonomous mobile robot is purposed in order to carry out the desired command with avoiding the obstacles to the required shortest route without damaging the objects and self-thanks to its decision mechanism. The purposed robot will be use a microcontroller based platform with an open source system known as Robot Operation System (ROS). Thus, the robot will have flexible programming capability. The robot is aimed to have high maneuverability within the factory thanks to its wheels that can be turned every direction, known as omni-wheel or mecanum-wheel.
