Özet (EN)

Today, increasing pollution and problems related to waste and waste management have gained importance. The changes in the quality of the elements that make up the environment, the increase of environmental problems and the global nature have caused societies to focus more on environmental problems. This study has been prepared in order to examine the waste management system within the framework of "Industrial Wastes" and to list the critical success factors (CSF) in industrial waste management. Accordingly, CSFs were determined, then questionnaire questions were prepared to rank these factors and a decision hierarchy was created for the analytical hierarchy process (AHP). The questionnaire was applied to 101 randomly selected people working in enterprises in different sectors, and data on the implementation of industrial waste management in enterprises and the ranking of CSFs were obtained. SPSS program was used in the analysis of the data. AHP data were obtained by the scoring of 5 expert environmental engineers working in the automotive, steel, food industries. While "national / local waste management strategies and policies" were the most important critical success factor according to AHP results, the most important critical success factor was "enterprise waste management strategies and policies" obtained from survey results. In addition, differences were observed in the priorities of CSF among sectors.
