Industrial design discipline in the context of environmental art approach: A seating unit design

Environmental art cares about nature in terms of its approach. Since the artists are against the commercialization of art, they also exhibit their works in nature in order to relate to space and place. Artists leave their works in nature and allow their works to disappear in nature. Thus, by purchasing their works, they object to the problem of commercialization of art works '. At the same time, artists turn to nature because they oppose industrialization. The artists who adopt these approaches and their works will be mentioned. Again, the design process of urban furniture in the context of industrial product will be emphasized. During the design process, the criteria which will be emphasized while creating a product will be mentioned. Within the scope of this study, project made by using similar interdisciplinary approaches will be presented with the example of artist work in which two different fields can be combined.
