Abstract (EN)

The main purpose of the study is to make an assessment regarding the use of Multi-Criteria Decision Making techniques in order to investigate to what extent and in what direction the relevant variables affecting energy efficiency within ISO 50001 Energy Management System affect energy performance. In this context, the energy management system approach and the variable factors considered in the calculation of energy efficiency were investigated, and a model was established and empirically tested with MCDM methods for its effect on energy efficiency calculation. The study was conducted on energy data obtained from a company operating in Izmir and producing in the textile sector, and the relevant variables affecting or thought to affect energy performance were determined and a model was established and tested for these variables using MCDM methods, and a ranking was provided, starting from the most effective. It has been seen that MCDM approaches can provide accurate results in selecting strategies for energy performance.
