Abstract (EN)

Disability is the state of people who have lost some physical, mental, spiritual, social, emotional, skills in various degrees and are in incapacity to complete the requirements of normal life and need protection, rehabilitation, therapy and counselling.The increasing number of studies in recent years to recognize people with disability are encouraging. We try by this study to define the well-being degree and forgiveness state of disabled people according to their kind and degree of ability to work, disability, gender, educational status.Heartland forgiveness Scale end Life Quality Scale were applied to speech/hearing, visually and continuous disabled people in İstanbul province. According to the findings the disabilities bygender and levels of disabilities, "forgiveness" and "Quality of life" there were no significant difference between. According to the disability, orthopaedic disabled forgiveness scores compared to the other disability groups were found lower. Quality of life scores were significantly lower than in continuous disabled than other disability groups. According to the education level and work status of disabled people, the life quality increase. But there is no meaningful difference on forgiveness behaviour
