Abstract (EN)
In this study (first in Turkey), the effect of ammonia fertilization on nitrification, CO2 release and activation of dehydrogenase enzyme as parameters of the biological activity of soil and grain yield, biomass, uptake some of nutrients under wheat vegetation and effect on some of plant parameters were investigated in comparison to CULTAN and conventional fertilization methods. The aim of this study was based on the injection of liquid ammonia into the soil in comparison to conventionally applied fertilization in the widely spread wheat cultivation areas of Turkey (Çukurova). The study included the monitoring of nitrification, the determination of N and investigation of the possible effects of the `injection fertilization? to the uptake of some micronutrients. According to the results for the first measurement period, ammonium nitrogen applied as CULTAN is significantly higher than in the other applications, where this difference disappeared in the subsequent periods. There WERE no significant differences between the applications in terms of CO2 production, dehydrogenase enzyme activity and pH changes. Moreover, the highest grain yield and biomass obtained in the 100% CULTAN (24 kg N / ha) application was followed by the traditional application of 100% N, whereas lower yields were obtained in the 70% N applications. Higher amounts of grain and shoot biomass were obtained per unit area with higher amounts of N application.
