Abstract (EN)

Landfill location selection is one of the most important steps in waste management. In this process, many diffrent differentitation processes should be handled in terms of politics, ecenomy, social and technology. Many methods such as analytical hiyerarchy process (AHP), geographic information systems (GIS), multi-criteria decision making, cost-benefit analysis, life cycle are used in the final location selection. Unfortunately, it is not possible to reach a concept such as "perfect landfill location" even though all these methods provide advantages for potential sites for decision makers. The participation of all stakeholders in the city in the selection of the landfill site will strengthen the hand of local administrators if the process is carried out correctly. This is the most suitable solid waste facility location selection for Bursa province. In order to learn the integrated solid waste facility in Bursa scale, it has been analyzed according to scientifically encrypted methodologies (GIS Based ARCCIS Program, Evaluation by Analytical Hierarchy Process from MCDV Methods) and look for a total of 31 location selection criteria and whether it is suitable for site selection. In addition, in this study, it was determined that the criteria in the regulation were insufficient, many factors should be taken into account when determining the criteria and the public should be included in the system with multi-disciplinary expert teams.
