The effects of accelerators used in sulfur vulcanization systems EPDM rubber compound on rheological and mechanical properties were investigated. In the study, the results obtained by using carbon black, oil, sulfur and different group accelerators with fixed ratios mixture recipes in rubber compound recipes were compared. At the same time, different accelerator combinations were formed from these chemicals in different accelerator groups and rubber compound recipes were prepared to evaluate the effect of rheological and mechanical properties. According to the results of the study; It was observed that the best curing time and the desired physical and rheological properties for the product were obtained optimally in the mixture recipes prepared by creating combinations of chemicals in different accelerator groups.
