Abstract (EN)
In this thesis study, physo-mechanical properties of composite materials prepared using NPEL 128 and NPEF 170 commercially coded epoxy resin, volatile ash and modified volatile ash, hardness, water sorption, adhesion and corrosion etc. were analyzed. The results of the test examined the effects of the type and quantity of additives used in composite material production on composite material. As a result of the analysis, the highest tensile strength was found to be 28 MPa in 15% UK use in composite materials using NPEF 170 and 27 MPa in 10% MUK usage. It has been determined that the amount of PEG used in composite material adversely affects tensile tests and lowers tensile strength. In hardness tests, the highest values were 85 Shore D for 10% UK use, 85 Shore D for 20% MUK use, and 42 Shore D as lowest hardness values when using 20% PEG. It was determined that the hardness value decreases as the PEG ratio participating in the material increases. The highest tensile strength was found to be 20 MPa for 5% UK use and 23 MPa for 15% MUK use in composite materials using NPEL 128. It has been determined that the tensile strength has fallen with the increase in the amount of PEG used in composite materials. In hardness tests, the highest values were 80 Shore D for 5% UK use, 84 Shore D for 20% MUK use, and 51 Shore D as lowest hardness values for 20% PEG use. It was determined that all composite materials generally have a high corrosion resistance to different (acidic, basic, salty) environments, have a high adhesion capacity (100%) and have very low water sorption.
