Erdal Avcı (Her life, art, poems)

Humans naturally feel the need to express their feelings and thoughts in some way. The poet reflects his feelings and thoughts to the outside world with the power of his pen. Folk poets conveyed the feelings that burned inside them to humanity with the melodies they created with the help of the instruments accompanying their poems. The expression of feelings is carried out in different ways by everyone and this expression is conveyed to humanity. After fermenting the emotional intensity that occurs within them, folk poets express these fermented feelings in words and present them to the appreciation of humanity through their instruments. Instrument poetry develops and continues its existence in the context of the master-apprentice relationship. The people that instrument poets take as apprentices are usually their own children. The apprentice learned this art from his master. Folk Poet Erdal Avcı, on the other hand, learned to play the instrument from his teacher. Folk Poet Erdal Avcı had a poor childhood. Erdal Avcı's poverty in his childhood nourished his art and his art developed within this framework. Erdal Avcı matured his art mostly through his own struggle. The artist took masters such as Âşık Mahsuni Şerif, Âşık Veysel, Neşet Ertaş and Murat Çobanoğlu as examples. Erdal Avcı opened a Youtube channel for some of his works to be preserved for the future, uploaded the works he vocalized here, published them as cassettes and had them printed as books by himself. In our thesis, all the works of the artist that were reached were examined academically.
