Abstract (EN)

ABSTRACTStudy of the levels of separation of drug-addicted adolescents, parental attitudes through comparison with non-drug-addicted adolescents is the basic subject matter of this research.In our research, the relation between the separation/individualization levels, family lives and child upbringing attitudes of 52 drug-addicted and 57 non-drug-addicted adolescents, making a total of 109, is compared.According to the results of the research, while the points of the drug-addicted adolescents are low to a meaningful extent in terms of healthy separation, their points which they have obtained in the sub-scales of absorption anxiety, care-seeking, need denial and refusal expectation are high to a meaningful extent when compared to the control group.In our research, no meaningful differentiation has been found in the family lives and child upbringing attitudes of the drug-addicted and non-drug-addicted adolescents in statistical terms.In the comparisons carried out within the own groups of the drug-addicted adolescents, the differentiations in the separation/individualization process of such variables as mother?s educational level, father?s educational level, parental relationship established in childhood, etc. are among the research findings.
