Abstract (EN)

Throughout the human history, individuals with disabilities have existed with people in society. With modernism and the development of urban life, it has become compulsory to make shared areas suitable for each person. It has been substantial particularly for the disabled to benefit from the urban life and not to have restrictions in terms of access. Considering that the majority of the population consists of young people most of whom study at universities, disabled people should also be considered in university campuses. In this context, the current situation of Bursa Uludag University Görükle Campus has been tried to be put forward in this study which the accessibility is evaluated for disabled users in. Görükle campus has been found to be partially suitable for access by the disabled in general, and besides, some shortcomings have been detected. It has been determined that especially reinforcement elements, car parks, ladders and ramps are not up to standard, nor guide tracks and signs are adequate. As a result, it is crucial to make the necessary arrangements and take the necessary measures in order to serve each users of the campus.
