The aim of this study is; to evaluate the nutritional status and habits, anthropometric measurements, sport performans of 14 male basketball players and to assess the relationship between their nutrion, anthropomethry and performans, and to make suggestions via the obtained evidence. To evaluate their nutritional status and energy balance of the subjectes; during their training period daily food intake and physical activity records were collected; varying antropomethric measurements were determined; variables belonging to blood biochemistry were examined. Flexibility, Cooper, Wingate, isokinetic knee muscle strength tests to measure sports performance and spss 13.0 package programme for statistical analyses were used.It is assigned that: energy intake of %71.4 did not meet their energy expenditure, the percentage of the energy from carbohydrate were low, fiber intake of %64.28 were defficient; K intake of %92.8; Ca intake of %78.5; Mg intake of %57.1; B1-vit intake of %57.1; folic acid intake of %64.2 did not meet RDA; %85.7 of the subjects were above their ideal weight; height, weight, BKI, for age, MUAC, triceps and subscapula SFT distributions were evaluated as suitable for NCHS percentilles. It is determined that: Cooper test results of %50 were classified as weak or very weak. Isokinetic muscle strength results of the subjects can be determined as low. It is established that there is significiant relationship between their weight, lean body mass and sport performance (p<0.05). In adolescence athletes, sufficient and well-balanced diet, and an appropriate training program should be aimed for providing appropriate development, maintaining good health and redounding performance.Key words: adolescence, nutrition, antropomethry, sport performance, basketball
