Abstract (EN)
The sectoral socio-economic trauma that emerged after the Soma and Ermenek mine accidents in 2014 in small and medium-sized existing underground coal enterprises operating in many coal basins where coal production is carried out in our country; increased costs, especially labor, as a result of the legislative changes made, work safety measures and inspections carried out, revealed the fact that the common denominator in almost all of the work stoppage sanctions is the enterprises operating with classical methods and labor-intensive labor force. The transformation of the existing underground coal enterprises in the Ermenek coal basin and in our country, which are still operating with classical systems and labor-intensive labor force, into enterprises that prioritize occupational health and safety, have high efficiency, and produce with an optimum number of labor forces, and the determination of appropriate techniques and methods by researching the appropriate parameters by considering the necessary or sufficient prerequisites for mechanization transformation is of vital importance for the future and sustainability of underground coal mining in our country. This study; The feasibility studies have been carried out by ensuring the transformation of the above mentioned existing enterprises to mechanization through a pilot enterprise example selected in Ermenek, and it aims to be an alternative reference source for the mechanization of similar underground enterprises that are still in the project phase and are planned to be opened.
