Abstract (EN)
Bursa became a city where different ethnic groups lived together after the control of Ottoman Empire in 1326. The Armenians were part of the non-Muslim community and were living in the city. Schools and place of worship were built under the conditions determined for Armenians by the state. A new church was not built after the second half of the 19th century. Churches and schools were abandoned because of the Tehcir Law in 1915. Some abandoned buildings were destroyed. Some buildings have survived to today. In this study, the plan type, architectural features, material and decoration programs of the buildings determined within the boundaries of Bursa were examined and the existence of these structures was tried to be documented.
