Abstract (EN)
In this study, pollen morphology of 17 taxa spesific to Erzincan was studied by using Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). The pollen sizes, pollen types, pollen shapes, pollen ornamentations and aperture structures of the studied taxa were examined. Electron microscopy images of the pollens were evaluated by considering related literature. In the studied taxa, pollen sizes are medium in 11 taxa and small in 6 of them. In terms of pollen forms, 9 of them are subprolate; 5 of them spheroidal and 3 of them perprolate. According to pollen types 9 of them are tricholpate; 3 of them syncholate and 2 of them pantoporate. The rest are monoulserate, tricholporate and triporat, respectively. Considering pollen ornamentations 6 of them are reticulate; 3 of them scabrate and 2 of them microecinate-microperforate. The rest are rugulate-microecinate, psilate-perforate, rugulate, equinate-spinate, verrukat-perforat, rugulate-perforate, respectively. It was not found any correlation between the growing environment of plants and the types, shapes, sizes and ornamentations of pollens.
