Abstract (EN)

In this study, the flora of Erzincan Dam and its vicinity was investigated. The study area is located at the intersection of the European-Siberian and Iranian-Turanian phytogeographic regions and within the B7 square. A total of 600 plant samples were collected during field studies. At the end of the research, a total of 407 species and subspecies taxa were determined, including 276 natural species and 131 subspecies belonging to 51 families and 198 genera in Erzincan (Göyne) Dam and its vicinity. All 51 families are in the Spermatophyta division. One of the families included in the Spermatophyta division belongs to Gymnospermae and 50 to Angiospermae subdivisions. 45 (88,23%) of the families included in the subdivision of Angiospermae are in theclass of Dicotyledoneae, the other 5 (9,8 %) are in the Monocotyledoneae class. The distributions of the determined species according to phytogeographical regions are: Iranian-Turanian 119 (29,23%), Euro-Siberian 34 (8,35%), Mediterranean 24 (5,89 %) and unknown region 230 (56,51%). 39 taxa are endemic and the rate of endemism is 9.58%. The number of new records for the B7 square is 36 (8,4%). The order of the 5 families and genera containing the most taxa as follow; Families: Asteraceae 62 (13,76%), Fabaceae 44 (6,74%), Lamiaceae 41 (9,83%), Brassicaceae 34 (7,58%) and Poaceae 32 (6,74%). Genera: Alyssum 9 (2,21%), Astragalus 8 (1,96%), Lathyrus, Silene and Vicia 7 (1,71%).
