Abstract (EN)
Drought has been one of the most destructive events among natural events due to the negative effects it has on both human life and natural resources and other living things. This devastating event affects many countries as well as negatively affects economic, social, political, environmental and cultural issues. Because of all these impacts, development of monitoring systems, drought management and social planning is of great importance and drought impacts should be minimized. In this study, standardized precipitation index (SPI), Percentage of Normal Index (PNI), Surface Flow Drought Index (SDI), Exploration Drought Index (RDI) and Aridity Index (AI) were used for monthly drought analysis in Erzincan, Gümüşhane and Bayburt provinces at the same time, the drought situation was analyzed statistically. In this study, Cronbach's alpha coefficient method was used to determine factor analysis and reliability level based on index, and it was syeen that RDI, SPI, SDI and AI indices could be collected under a single factor.
