Abstract (EN)

In this study, the flora of Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University Yalnızbağ Campus and near surroundings was investigated. The study area is located at the intersection point of the Irano-Turanian and Euro-Siberian phytogeographical regions and within the B7 square. A total of 540 plant samples were collected during field studies. At the end of the study, a total of 337 taxa were determined, including 229 species, 108 subspecies and varieties belonging to 197 genera and 46 families. All 46 families are in the Spermatophyta division. One of the families included in the Spermatophyta division belongs to Gymnospermae and 45 to Angiospermae subdivisions. 40 (86,95%) of the families included in the Angiospermae subdivision were Dicotyledoneae and 5 (10,86%) were in the Monocotyledoneae classes. Distribution of the identified species by phytogeographical regions: Irano-Turanian 97 (28,78%), Euro-Siberian 20 (5,93%), Mediterranean 14 (4,15%), multi regional and the unknowns 206 (61,12%). 33 of the total taxa are endemic and the rate of endemism is 9,79 %. The number of new records for the B7 square is 27 (8,01%). The order of the 5 families and 3 genera containing the most taxa is as follows; Families: Asteraceae 51 (15,13%), Brassicaceae 36 (10,68%), Fabaceae 35 (10,38%), Caryophyllaceae 24 (7,12%), Boraginaceae and Lamiaceae 22 (6,52%). Genera: Astragalus 9 (2,67%), Alyssum 6 (1,78%), Convolvulus, Medicago, Onobrychis and Silene 5 (1,48%).
