Abstract (EN)

The foundation institution is an extremely important institution for the unity and solidarity of the Islamic community. Foundations also played an important role in the Ottoman State and thanks to these foundations, many social services of the state were seen. As in many areas, the most important resource we can refer to foundations is undoubtedly their records of sharia. In this regard, the analysis and analysis of the records of sharia is important in terms of both providing service to our history and enlightening information about the application of Islamic Law in the Ottoman State. Erzincan has four sherry records and these registers are kept in the Ankara National Library archive. In the introduction part of our study, information related to their registers has been given and studies in this field have been explained. In the second part, information about the foundation has been given and the concept of the foundation has been examined in Ottoman and Islamic law. In the third part, technical analysis of the documents related to the foundation in their records in Erzincan, has been done. In the fourth and last chapter, the evaluation of these documents from the point of view of jurisdiction has been made. As a result, it was revealed that the documents related to the foundation included nine different subjects and these subjects were collected under three main headings. When we look at the documents, we see that the decisions made are implemented according to Islamic Law. This helps us to understand the applications of Islamic Law in practical life and to better understand its theoretical aspect.
