A research on the social, economic problems and political opinions of Afgan migrants living in Erzincan

In Turkey, which hosts approximately 4 million immigrants, most of whom do not intend to return to their countries, the problems of immigrants, especially integration into the society, and the reflections of these problems on the society continue to be an important agenda item. In this respect, the analysis of immigrant societies is important. In recent years, determining the demographic characteristics such as age, gender, education and family structure of Afghan immigrants, which ranks first among irregular immigrants caughtin Turkey, and revealing their problems, political tendencies and future plans are of fundamental importance in terms of solving the problems of immigrant societies, in this context. the main purpose of the thesis is to examine all the problems of Afghan immigrants living in Erzincan, especially in the economic, social and cultural areas, integration into society, housing, health, education, language; to reveal their political tendencies, future plans and expectations, including their political ideologies, secularism and their view of the European Union.
