Özet (EN)

Pontid Orogenic Belt, starting from Bulgaria, Turkey-Istranca region extending from the Caucasus represents the East-West trending mountain belt. The study area covers a large area in the eastern part of the Pontides, which includes the provinces of Erzurum, Artvin and Rize. The geodynamic evolution of the region in the Mesozoic-Cenozoic process was revealed by performing whole rock analysis, U-Pb ages and Lu-Hf isotope analysis of Eocene-Lower Cretaceous acidic composition plutonic rocks in the study region. Thus, the zircon U-Pb ages of these plutons were obtained, it was determined that there were different phases in the plutons and the geodynamic evolution of the region was provided with a more detailed understanding with Lu-Hf isotopes. Acidic plutonic rocks in Erzurum, Artvin and Rize regions are generally represented by granite, granodiorite and quartz monzonites, rocks in Olur (Erzurum) region are metagranites, and volcanics are dacite and rhyolites. The rocks investigated have a character that varies in composition from tholeiitic to shoshonitic and generally have I-type metalumino-peralumino characterictics. Plutons 206Pb / 238U ages 39-134 Ma. according to LA-ICP-MS zircon U-Pb method. ƐHf (t) contents have positive values varying in the range of 1.4-14. In the light of all data, significant contributions were made for the Mesozoic-Cenozoic geology and post-geodynamic model of the region, the lack of data for the period in question was eliminated, and the tectono-magmatic problems of the region were solved with current technological data and the Mesozoic-Cenozoic evolution was revealed. Keywords: Eastern Pontides, Acid plütonic rocks, Zircon U-Pb age, Lu-Hf isotopes
