Abstract (EN)

In theses of postgraduate studies, present substructure is taken into consideration when theses subject are determined. For example, AAS produced commercially in 1960s, have resulted to determination of 60 elements in environmental, food and biological samples. So, researchers studied in areas such as science, engineering, agricultural, veterinary and medicinal sciences have completed their theses on trace element analysis by AAS.In this study, theses completed on trace element analysis in our country?s universities were classified. For this purpose, we were utilized from web page of the council of higher education. It is considered that this study contributes to prevent the repeat of the studied subjects formerly in selection of theses titles, in the future. Interested in this study, total 418 theses were found. The results of 346 theses couldn?t be evaluated because of lack of permission to these theses. So, the titles of these theses were only compared together with each others. The obtained 72 theses were investigated in four different subject as diseases, foods, fish-sediments and waters. From all theses and their results, following evaluations and suggestions were concluded.-There are the repeated titles of theses even in doctorate theses and specialty in medicine degree that they should be original.- Too different results can be found in theses that their titles are different but their contents are same. It is needed that the high different results should be suspected from their accuracies because it is known that limit values between essential and toxic concentrations of many elements are narrow in human tissues and fluids. Finally, interferences in GFAAS and X-ray diffraction methods can be cause important errors.Key Words: Master, doctorate, thesis, trace element
