Abstract (EN)
This study deals with the subject of Acceptance of Work and Responsibilities of the Contractor in the Freelance Contracts. The subject has been investigated under five main chapters. The first chapter is on the definition of Freelance Contracts, its legal nature, components and its differences from other similar contracts. The second chapter examines the obligations of the contractor arising from the contract; and the third chapter deals with the obligations of the contractor resulting from the defect. The fourth chapter is on the completion of defect obligation of contractor and the last chapter studies the periods of limination to be applied onto the disputes of Freelance Contracts in accordance with the New Turkish Law of Obligations numbered 6098 to enter into force on July 01, 2012.
