The very first traces of human begins in Near East can be dated to 30.000 B.C. After the Ice-Age, human tribes in Persian Plateau searched for suitable places and found same profitable lands for settlement. These settlements grow up from small villages to city from simple one story houses to multiple storied buildings. At the beginnings, the man was hunter ? collector, after wards he learned agriculture and cattle dealing. With the development of cities and changing of relations. They got accustomed to politics. For stocking and saving food, they invented pottery long before the invention using of writing; they created a special stylized artistic language on pottery. They transferred their all feelings and life impressions to these very thin and fine, but at the same time hard as porcelain marvelous pottery. The first city civilization with multiple storied buildings in Mesopotamia was first seen in Susa, at the southern Persian Plateau. Within the centuries Susa was ruled by dynasties of northern folks. These folks founded Elamite Empire and made Susa their capital. Elamite Empire existed for 1500 years with interruptions and at last Asurbanibal gave a decisive end to it. After the Elamites, Achamenide Empire, which took power from the Meds dominated the region and gave the base for Persian Empire. Persian Empire spread and from Western Anatolia to Egypt and İndia. Susa was one of the three capitals of this last Empire, especially a center for art and culture. Though its whole history, the mankind in Persian Plateau and especially in Susa, created very surprising artworks. The motives which were used at pottery were later transferred to golden and bronze works with an unknown technique, which is lost in archive. Antique İran, especially the city Susa is very interesting in the aspect of art evolution and present a great untouched area for researchers.
