Abstract (EN)
Transportation is one of the most important foundations of the country's socio-economic structure. Highways are the most active transportation system in our country. Almost all of our country is surrounded by flexible asphalt roads, the total road network is 68,526 km and all of them are asphalt. With the increasing population and developing technology inour country, heavy vehicle traffic is gradually increasing, which causes some deteriorationin the road structure. However, due to the fact that our country has a mountainousand rugged geographical structure and different climatic characteristics, increasing axle loads create many road problems. Considering all these, it is imperative that the maintenance and repairs of the highway network, which is actively serving today, be done on time with the highest quality. In order to prevent a country's economy from being negatively affected, it is important to identify or anticipate the causes of deterioration of active road routes, rather than renewing the existing road network frequently, and redesign them. In the study, the causes of the deformations that occur on the flexible paved roads and the solutions are presented based on the Kırıkkale example.
