Abstract (EN)
Founded in 1946, the Democratic Party, which led to a turning point in the political history of Turkey as well as influenced the political atmosphere of the forthcoming years, carries the indications of populism in terms of its acts and its discourses. This study, through the help of the analyses on populism, questions to what extent this political party corresponds to these and if populism would be applicable to read and to understand the position and the importance of this party.
