Abstract (EN)

This study aims to examine the effects of using interactive videos on the achievement and attitudes of 5th grade middle school students in English. As the role of educational technologies in education has been increasing, the contribution of interactive videos to students' learning processes has also been a remarkable issue. The study is designed to analyze how interactive videos affect students' language skills and shape their attitudes towards English language teaching. In this study, a quasi-experimental design with pretest-posttest and control group, one of the experimental research models, which is one of the quantitative research methods, was used to examine the effect of interactive video in foreign language teaching on students' achievement in English and their attitudes towards the course. Data were collected through students' achievement tests and questionnaires. The results show that the use of interactive videos is an effective tool in increasing students' achievement in English language courses and developing positive attitudes. The study provides information for educators to evaluate the potential of interactive videos in language learning and revise their teaching strategies accordingly.
