Özet (EN)

The aim of this study is to examine the histological slides obtained by cutting the ileums of broiler chickens from the commercial broiler slaughterhouse with 2 different cutting angles (classical cut and cut with 45 degrees angle) under the microscope, and to determine the more visible goblet cell in which section. Samples taken from ileums were put in 10% formaldehyde. The samples taken from the animals were brought to the Animal Nutrition Laboratory of Kırşehir Ahi Evran University Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Animal Science and analyzed. In the histology analysis of the study, paraffin blocks were prepared, samples were cut in 5 micron thickness, placed in paraffin and kept for the paraffin to penetrate the tissues. Afterwards, the tissues were stained with Algian blue and PAS (Periodic acid and Schif reagent) and photographs were taken with a digital camera microscope (ZEISS Primo Star, Germany) for appropriate imaging. At the end of the study, it was determined that samples cut at 45 degrees could be obtained with more viewable samples compared to samples cut with classical angle.
