The formation of alternative ration program excel based in the preparation of broiler ration

Feed costs in livestock farms are approximately 75-85% of production costs. The cost of farm inputs should be used in feed raw materials due to feed accurate and critical limits. The nutrients needed by the rapidly developing broilers change periodically. Therefore, the needs of broilers should be determined periodically and the most ideal ration should be prepared. Criteria such as breed, physiological and health status, sex and environmental conditions of the animal should be taken into consideration while preparing the ration. In the process of ration preparation with classical methods, taking the above criteria into consideration is quite complicated, difficult and time consuming. Therefore, target programming methods that seek the most ideal solution by transforming a multi-purpose problem developed as an alternative to classical methods into a single-purpose problem are of great importance. For this purpose, ration formulations were prepared in the ration program designed with the Microsoft Office 2016 Excel Package Program for rational feeding of broilers. The ration formulations prepared were solved in three commercial ration preparation programs on the market and the ration formulations prepared were compared and the differences between the programs were examined. At the end of the study, the total similarity between ration formulations prepared with all programs used was statistically 97%. According to all these results, no statistical difference were observed between the software.
