Abstract (EN)
In this study on daily life, relationships with education, ideological and organizational structure of students fitting into an organized socialist group that we conducted in 2011, we will address the leftist tradition to which the students refer to as to build their political identity and we will work to understand the continuities and ruptures of the new and old students actors movements. We first deal with the dynamics affecting the construction of youth in a historical, sociological, psychological and biological. We will define youth as citizens, not tomorrow but today, as people who fight for their needs and aspirations and that make daily life in which they find themselves together with adults. Then we will see the relationship between the student youth and political power can be interpreted as a process of transition from conflict to harmony in the historical context. In this point, we can say that you need to make a distinction between the youth of the secondary and higher education by reference to age and physical and technical differences between institutions both teaching and the students are considered under the protection of the university students and youth as part of the future with the support of the latter. Nevertheless it would be wrong to say that the students have existed as political actors throughout the history of student opposition, they have released in their youth leaders, they put their issues on the agenda and in so doing they conducted their political activities simultaneously and coordinated with the youth of higher education. In the last part, we want to listen to young people themselves. That is why we will conduct a field study of activists of the youth of high school work (Liseli Emek Gençliği). Using the method of focus, we will discuss with adolescents 15 to 19 years. Starting from a class perspective, the students in question are socialists and school education at the center of their political activity. They argue that education is currently paying, repetitive, reactionary, standardizes and chauvinist and sexist. They draw attention to the exploitation of the labor force in vocational schools, on the privatization of educational institutions and the encroachment on their rights. They claim, against all these problems that affect them directly, a Democratic school, active surveillance of school administration, science education and affirmative action for disadvantaged students. Apart from in-depth interviews conducted with students activists, we will diversify our sources with the news published in the website of the Labour Party, the newspaper Evrensel, the journal of Genç Hayat and interviews with adults of the Labour Party and Evrensel.
