Anayasa referandumlarının demokratik meşruiyet kriterleri açısından incelenmesi

Referendum has become a method which is applied increasingly as a political participation device in today?s democracies. Referendum, which is essentially one of the voting means of direct democracies, is also frequently used in large numbers of representative democracies such as Turkey and Chili who are case studies of this dissertation. Hereby with this study, concentrated specially on constitutional referendum concept, referendum is addressed within the framework of requirements of ?democratic legitimacy? notion which is considered relevant both historically and causatively.
