Abstract (EN)
The most common working method in the world, the office environment, has been replaced by other working practices that have evolved with the Covid-19 pandemic. In this study, the negative and positive aspects of the recently preferred working from home method compared to the office working method were discussed, and the contributions of both working models to performance in terms of ergonomics were simultaneously measured. Within the scope of the study purpose, the effects of workplace ergonomics were compared under two headings as working from home and working from the office, and the method in which employees work more ergonomically and with high performance was measured with the collected survey data. Ergonomic conditions in the workplace environment are one of the factors that affect employees physically and psychologically. In the analysis of the study; it was examined whether there was a significant difference between working from work-working from home and working from home and performance in the context of screen vehicle ergonomics. The originality of the study is supported by the fact that no research was found as a result of the literature review that evaluated performance and examined the ergonomics of working from home screen vehicles and the ergonomics of working from the office screen vehicles by people who use both methods in the context of survey method. While the connection between the working style in home and office environments and ergonomics was examined in this study, the reflections of this situation on employee performance were observed with a survey conducted in a human resources company that adopted the working from home and working from office model. In the three hypotheses that were created and proven based on the subject headings, it was determined that all the mentioned headings had different levels of importance for people working from office and home and that these headings made ergonomic contributions for people working from home compared to the majority. The fourth hypothesis that was rejected was interpreted as there was no significant difference between the performance of working from home and the performance of working from office, and a consistent result was also seen in the responses given by the survey participants.
