Abstract (EN)

In addition to the effect of increasing social, cultural and economic inequalities, natural disasters also have a damaging effect on administrative functioning. For this reason, it is an inevitable fact that illegal crimes increase with the confusion that occurs as a result of having a great effect on the existing order in societies. Disaster response teams going to the scene are also exposed and/or witness to these crimes. With this work; It is aimed to reveal the concept of crime in disasters and their perspectives to the personnel of the National Medical Rescue Team within the Provincial Health Directorates of Balikesir, Bilecik, Bursa, Canakkale, Edirne, Istanbul, Kirklareli, Kocaeli, Sakarya, Tekirdag, and Yalova. After reviewing the relevant literature, the questionnaire and scale of our research were created by us as there was not enough study on this subject. In addition to demographic questions, we have 43 questions about natural disasters and crime. As a result of the data we obtained, the analysis was carried out using the SPSS 22 data program. As a result of the research, when the therapeutic community hypothesis, social disorder hypothesis, routine activity hypothesis in the literature were evaluated from the point of view, it was seen that the social disorder hypothesis and routine activity hypothesis were effective on the participants.
