The evaluation of the relationship between vitamin d andfibroblast growth factor 23 (FGF-23) and the use of the resultsas a new bibeller in serum of patients with diabeticnephropathy

FGF23 has emerged as a new factor in mineral metabolism in chronic kidney disease (CKD). This thesis, it is aimed to analyze the relationship between vitamin D3 growth factor 23(FGF23) and to evaluate whether these results will be markers for patients with diabetic nephropathy. All groups are between ( 20 -60) years old. The presented study was conduction in the medical city hospital in Baghdad, Iraq. This study included three groups all of them totaling 180 samples and they are first of all 1- the 60 patients with diabetic nephropathy including 30 males and 30 females 2-the 60 patients with kidney disease without diabetes of whom 30 are males and 30 females 3-the healthy(control) 60 of them were 30 males and 30 females. The results showed that is an inverse relationship between vitamin D3 and FGF23 and all there are significant differences except for no difference between age and BMI.
